Which H-Pipe is best for you?
Mustang FM 2015-17 - A Hot Dog H Pipe is our best recommendation as the FM models from 2015-17 do not feature Active Valve control like newer models.
The Hot Dog H Pipe delivers a deeper note without being offensive. A normal H Pipe will do the job, however, if you want to scale your exhaust system with Axleback mufflers or add Headers you could experience Cabin Drone. Important to highlight that being an aspirated V8 it's noted that feedback from various customers using variety brands of H Pipes that they often dislike the rasp of the engine which is more prevalent with a normal H-Pipe vs a Hot Dog H Pipe. We recommend the Hot Dog H Pipe is hands down a better option for the 2015-17 model.
Mustang FN 2018-23 - this model features Active Valve control, therefore a normal H Pipe will do the job nicely and add that deeper V8 rumble, however, if you want to scale your exhaust system and add Headers you could experience mild Cabin Drone, if Headers are on your 'to-do' list our you wanted deeper rumble, a Hot Dog H Pipe is the way to go.
Mustang FO 2024+ - this model features Active Valve control, however, the engine advancement means normal H Pipe will do the job, however, again being an aspirated V8 it's noted that feedback from various customers using variety brands of H Pipes often dislike the rasp of the engine which is more prevalent with a normal H-Pipe. For this reason alone we recommend the Hot Dog H Pipe is hands down a better option for the s650.
